A Team Around Each Young Woman
At AFACT, no one person does the work alone.
Our residential, clinical, administrative, and support teams work together to create a consistent environment where each young woman can be heard, supported, and encouraged.
Treatment is individualized, and when appropriate, guardians, case managers, family members, and other important supports are part of that process.
Every young woman deserves a team that sees her strengths, supports her growth, and believes in her future.

Dori Tamagni founded AFACT with the belief that children and young people can find meaningful growth through compassionate care, therapeutic relationships, and connection with animals and the natural world.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Dori has worked in behavioral health and youth services for more than 25 years. Her experience includes individual, family, and group counseling; clinical supervision; behavioral health residential services; substance-abuse prevention and education; and the development of equine-assisted programs for children, adolescents, and families.
Her work with AFACT brings together clinical practice and her longstanding experience with horses and animal-assisted approaches. She has designed equine program curricula, worked as an equine specialist and therapist, and developed programs that incorporate animals as part of the therapeutic process.
Today, Dori continues to guide AFACT's clinical vision and the Ranch environment she created; a place where young women can feel safe, build confidence, develop healthy skills, and begin moving toward a more independent future.

Clay leads the day-to-day operations of AFACT, helping ensure that the Ranch, facilities, and programs have the structure and support needed to provide a safe and stable environment for the girls we serve.
With a hands-on approach to operations, Clay works across the organization to solve problems, support the team, maintain the Ranch, and help turn AFACT's vision into action.
His focus is simple: creating a well-run, welcoming environment where the people caring for our residents can do their best work.

Leigh oversees the administrative and organizational systems that support AFACT's daily operations and continued growth.
Her work includes administration, procurement, organizational development, marketing, resource coordination, and building relationships with community and referral partners.
Behind the scenes, Leigh helps create the structure that allows AFACT's clinical team and Ranch staff to focus on what matters most: providing a safe, supportive environment for the young women in their care.
