AFACT provides therapeutic residential care for girls ages 8–17 in a peaceful Ranch setting in Marana, Arizona.
Here, healing happens through connection, with trusted adults, animals, nature, meaningful relationships, and a renewed sense of self. Each young woman receives individualized support in a safe, structured environment designed to help her build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and prepare for a more independent future.

AFACT is more than a place to stay. Our small residential program offers a nurturing environment where young women can slow down, feel safe, and begin the work of healing.
Set on 20 acres of desert landscape, the Ranch provides space for therapeutic work, daily routines, animals, gardens, outdoor experiences, and the simple rhythms of caring for a place and the living things within it.
Our approach recognizes that every young woman arrives with her own history, strengths, challenges, and goals. Treatment begins with meeting her where she is.

Every Young Woman Has Her Own Path
AFACT's treatment approach is individualized. The needs, strengths, goals, and circumstances of each client help determine where treatment begins and where it leads.
Kindness, compassion, structure, and guidance are at the heart of our work.
When appropriate, family members, guardians, case managers, and other important supports are meaningfully involved in the treatment process. Family involvement is encouraged while always keeping the young woman's safety and well-being at the center.
